Dr. Sudip Kumar Mandal

Associate Professor

Dr. Sudip Kumar Mandal has received his PhD award in Pharmacy in 2015 from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, a state government and NIRF ranked university in West Bengal, India. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor at Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and AHS, Durgapur. He has more than 19 years of research and teaching experience in the field of pharmaceutical science. He is a member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. His research interests focus on discovery and development of bioactive organic compounds and related derivatives from synthetic routes and natural sources against inflammation, cancer and microorganisms. A PhD scholar has been awarded under his supervision in March, 2025 and currently he is supervising other four PhD scholars. He has authored around 60 peer-reviewed articles and 6 book chapters. His highest Impact Factor is 10.5, cumulative Impact Factor is 90, h-index is 16 and i10-index is 25. He has two Indian patents. He was invited as the Keynote Speaker at the International Conference organized by Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt in 2019. He has been involved as a reviewer with many high impact and prestigious journals such as Scientific Reports from Nature publisher. He has been honoured as Brand Ambassador of Bentham Science Publisher. He has editorial involvements with many journals such as Discover Applied Sciences with IF-2.8 from Springer Nature Publisher , Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry with IF-3.5 from Bentham Science Publisher and so on.
